Minimum wage increase welcomed, but Lincolnshire’s small businesses “must be supported”

Autumn statement hoped to bring support for businesses

A national living wage increase will be welcome news for the lowest paid in our communities, but could harm small businesses with new added costs, Lincolnshire business and economy leaders have warned.

Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt announced plans to raise the national living wage to £11 an hour from its previous rate of £10.42.
