Lincoln teen charged with street drug dealing

Cleaning up the streets one dealer at a time

A local teenager has been charged with multiple drugs offences after being arrested in Lincoln City Centre on Wednesday.

Declan Reece Massingham, 19, was arrested at St Swithins Square on Wednesday, July 18 and was charged with:

  • Possession with intent to supply synthetic cannabinoid (Class B drug)
  • Possession with intent to supply crack cocaine (Class A drug)
  • Possession of criminal property, namely £449 in cash

Lincolnshire Police said: “The arrest came as a result of proactive policing in the city centre following issues reported relating to the use of drugs. This is part of an ongoing policing operation.”

As previously reported, the Police and Crime Commissioner Marc Jones and the Chief Constable Bill Skelly promised they will tackle the problem of drug taking on Lincoln’s streets as The Lincolnite highlighted the damaging extent of the issue.
