Tree blocks road near Lincoln roundabout

A tree has fallen onto the A46, blocking part of the road near Damon’s roundabout during strong winds.

The northbound carriageway is blocked.

It is causing traffic to build in both directions on the approach.

This is not the first incident caused by the windy weather in Lincoln this week after a large tree fell across the A15 Cross O’Cliff Hill on Wednesday.

Weather experts are warning of 65 miles per hour winds in Lincoln on Thursday (March 14). The Met Office issued another yellow weather warning for the East Midlands from 6am to 1pm.
