Co-op pharmacy moves to Lincoln Cornhill Quarter

A new home for a busy Lincoln pharmacy

By Local Democracy Reporter

Lincolnshire Co-op pharmacy has a new address in the heart of the Cornhill Quarter after moving from City Square Centre.

The store was located in City Square Centre, but closed on Friday to reopen on Sincil Street on Monday.

It has moved to 15 Sincil Street, a few doors down from the Lincolnshire Co-op food store.

Health checks, medicine reviews and an electronic prescription service will be ran from inside the store.

The move is part of the large development of Lincoln’s Cornhill Quarter, which is being led by Lincolnshire Co-op.

The pharmacy building dates back to the late 1860s and has previously been home to a printer, a gramophone and record supplier, as well as a butcher’s shop.

It means that the post office is the only Lincolnshire Co-op-ran store left in the City Square Centre, with plans still in place to relocate.
