Boston teen admits manslaughter

He will be sentenced later this year

A teenager admitted a charge of manslaughter following an incident in Boston earlier this year in which a 43-year-old man died.

Hikmet Maez, 19, of Spilsby Road, Boston, had previously denied the charge at a hearing two weeks ago but on Thursday he changed his plea and admitted unlawfully killing Gediminas Vaitkus.

Mr Vaitkus, 43, suffered injuries as a result of an incident on Red Lion Street, Boston, on July 28 and died in hospital on August 2.
