Boston torture murderers, several child sex offenders and a man, who brutally attacked his ex partner in front of her terrified child, were among those jailed in Lincolnshire in August.

Boston torture murder
Three of the five men were found guilty of murder.
Five men were sentenced to serve 86 years in total after the torture and murder of a Boston man.
Albert Volkausks died after a horrific attack where the men lured him to an address before restraining him, severely beating him and then urinating on him.
Three men – Mindaugas Cerneckas, Donatos Dektiariovas and Andrius Barauskas – were jailed for 20 years after being found guilty of murder.
Two others were found guilty of manslaughter – Pavel Grunt-Meyer and Tautvydas Vainolavicius – and sentenced to 14 years and 12 years respectively.
Louis Morgan, 34, of Manvers Street in Hull, was jailed for 25 years after admitting to breaking into a neighbour’s home and repeatedly stabbing her when she intervened as he brutally attacked his former partner in front of her terrified child.
He admitted attempting to murder Gwen Kaplan and wounding Rhiannon Mills with intent to cause Grievous Bodily Harm at her home in Sunningdale Drive, Immingham on February 12.
Child rapist Paul Mercer was sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court.
Paul Mercer, 51, of Old Main Road, East Heckington was jailed for 12 years and nine months after raping his victim twice when she was 12-years-old and on further occasions after she turned 13.
Mercer admitted four charges of rape and was placed on the sex offenders’ register for life and given an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.
Daniel Thomas, formerly of Long Row, Newark-on-Trent, was jailed for 11 years
Daniel Thomas, 21, formerly of Long Row, Newark-on-Trent, was jailed for 11 years after trying to rape a 12-year-old girl as well as a 48-year-old woman on the same day.
He will be on the Sex Offenders Register for life and will be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for the same duration.
The Tiamo Pizza restaurant at The Forum in North Hykeham.
Restaurant owner Fathi Zureiqi, 48, of St Catherines, who opened the Tiamo Pizza Restaurant in North Hykeham and another in Sleaford, carried out a £175,000 tax fraud and was jailed for 18 months.
Andrew Hunsdon, 56, who has physical and mental health problems and was recently living in a psychiatric unit, was jailed for four years after admitting sexually assaulting a young girl.
Michael Austin, 58, was jailed for 10 months after being caught with a “significant volume” of illegal child sex abuse images following a police raid at his home in Sea Dyke Way in Marshchapel.
He must also register as a sex offender for 10 years and was also made the subject of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order, which will last for five years.
Stephen Clarke, 21, of Albion Road, Grantham, was jailed for 12 months after letting himself into the house of his former partner and punching her in the face twice and smashing her head against a coffee table three times.
Daniel Astley has been jailed for three years and nine months.
Daniel Astley, 28, of Laurel Way, Scunthorpe, was jailed for three years and nine months after going into a flat and robbing the occupants armed with a pair of scissors.
He was desperate for money to get home after finding himself stranded 15 miles away.
Homeless man Adam Herbert, 23, of no fixed address was jailed for 10 months after being caught with a knife and becoming aggressive when confronted by police.
He was taken into police custody, but went on to smear his cell with excrement.

Daniel Ward, 38, of Moorland Crescent, Lincoln was jailed for two years and eight months after carrying out a raid on a student flat, although he claims not to remember the offence due to a stroke.
The court was told that he had 32 convictions for a total of 104 offences including two previous convictions for house burglary.
Nurse Rebecca Burwell, 49, of High Street, Heckington, was jailed for eight months and placed on the sex offenders’ register for 10 years after admitting to having a relationship with a psychiatric patient.
She was also placed on the barring list preventing her from working with children and vulnerable adults.
Thomas Callow, 68, of Clay Bank, South Kyme, was jailed for eight months after downloading indecent images of children onto his laptop over a five year period.
